「ホーネットスティンガー プラス HSPC-741X-BB」は,4オンスまでのビッグベイトに対応するゴツいロッドだ。一日中振り回せば筋肉痛必至だが,それくらいのパワーが必要なのは理解できる。だが,この竿の重量感はちょっと頂けない。一日中投げ続けたら腕がパンパンになるだろう。
「クラドDC 200HG」に関しては,ブレーキダイヤルが固すぎる。4まで回せないのは致命的だ。初期不良の可能性もあるが,店舗で確認してから購入すべきだろう。その他の点は良好だが,ダイヤルの固さは気になる。
ラインの「UGO V6 SOFT 20lb」は,柔らかすぎてキャスト効率が良いのは認めるが,フロロにしてはちょっと柔らかすぎる印象だ。もう少しコシがあってもいい。
ルアーの「G.I」は,コンパクトジョイントベイトということでMHクラスのロッドで扱えるのは便利だが,インパクトはビッグベイトほどではない。ちょっと中途半端な感じがする。「ビースト 145F」は,リップやシンカーアイを交換することであらゆるレンジにアプローチできるのは魅力的だが,豪華な割に値段が安いのはちょっと怪しい。
使用した釣り場は三島湖だが,水質が濁っていてバスの動きが鈍かった。それでもなんとか数匹釣ることができたが,サイズは小さかった。
総じて,今回使ったタックルは可もなく不可もなくだった。値段相応の性能はあるが,もう少し改良の余地があると思う。特に「ホーネットスティンガー プラス HSPC-741X-BB」の重量感と「クラドDC 200HG」のブレーキダイヤルの固さは改善してほしい。
