ダイワの最新ベイトリール「ジリオン10（テン）」が発売された。このリールはハンドル1回転106cmという世界最速の回収力を持ち、ギア比10.0：1を搭載している。大森貴洋氏が20年前から夢見ていた2桁のギア比がついに実現したという。この高速リールは低水温期のウィードエリアやリアクションが重要な場面で威力を発揮し、短時間でバスをランディングすることができる。ハンドルの回収力が勝敗を分ける瞬発力が求められるシーンで特に活躍する。

Daiwa's new ZILLION TW HD baitcasting reel is designed for saltwater use. It features HYPERDRIVE DIGIGEAR with a high-durability copper alloy pinion gear for smooth and strong rotation, and the HYPER ARMED HOUSING (FULL AL) provides compact yet sturdy body rigidity. The reel is equipped with a new Φ34mm G1 Juralmin ultra-high-precision MAG-Z BOOST spool for excellent long casting performance. The MAGFORCE-Z BOOST setting maximizes casting distance by avoiding backlash and achieving a smooth trajectory. The TWS system reduces resistance for less backlash and improved control.
