ブラックレーベル SC C69M+ -STは、大物とのやり取りも難なくこなせるパワフルなロッドだ。ティップはヘビーカバーでバスを引きずり出すのに十分なパワーを備えており、バットはラバージグやスピナーベイトなどの抵抗の大きいルアーを正確にキャストできる。しかし、クランクベイトでは少し硬すぎるきらいがある。
ジリオン 10.0R-SV TWは、確かにヘビーカバーや遠投での釣りには優れている。その爆速ギア比とフルメタルハウジングは、強靭な相手にも負けない頼もしさを与えてくれる。だが、巻物にはまったく向いていない。スローなプレゼンテーションを必要とする状況では、ギヤ比が速すぎて使いにくい。
タトゥーラ タイプ ナイロンは、十分な強力性と耐摩耗性を備えているが、その stiffness が気になる。軽めのルアーをキャストするときには、少し硬すぎるように感じられる。

全体として、このタックルセッティングはバスフィッシングのさまざまな状況に対応できる汎用性がある。しかし、いくつかの弱点も考慮する必要がある。ロッドはクランクベイトには硬すぎ、リールは巻物には向いていない。ラインは軽めのルアーをキャストするには stiff だ。これらの要素を考慮したうえで、賢く使用すれば、このタックルは大きな釣果をもたらすだろう。
